description: Write marketing site copy from the positioning brief and apply it to the actual page. Use once the section order exists.
---

Write the marketing site copy, and put it on the page.

**Inputs.** The positioning brief at `04-positioning/brief.md` and the section order at `05-site/structure.md`. If the brief is missing, stop and run `/positioning-brief`. If the structure is missing, run `/site-structure` first — do not invent a section spine inside a copy pass.

1. **Read the current page first.** List what you are cutting and why, line by line. Founders defend copy they wrote; a cut with a reason attached survives the argument.
2. **The hero is the one-liner.** Straight from the brief. If it has to change to work on the page, that is a signal the positioning needed changing — say so rather than quietly rewriting it here.
3. **Fill the sections `/site-structure` named**, in that order. One job per section, and if you cannot say what job a section does, cut it.
4. **Proof, not adjectives.** A number, a screenshot, a customer sentence, a benchmark. "Blazing-fast" and "enterprise-grade" survive being pasted onto a competitor's site, which is how you know they say nothing.
5. **One CTA**, repeated, not five competing ones. Cut any CTA the company cannot honour — a "Book a demo" button on a self-serve product with no sales team is a lie that costs the click.

Never write "AI-powered" as a differentiator. Read the finished draft back and cut any sentence you would not say to someone's face.

Write to `05-site/copy.md`, then apply it to the actual page components. Copy that lives only in a markdown file has not shipped.
