Front Page Kid
Every kid gets a spotlight.
Front Page Kid
Front Page Kid turns one sideline photo and the final score into a newspaper front page and a trading card for a youth athlete. Parents get a keepsake the same night, built only from real facts and their kid's own words.
What they shipped
Built from zero this weekend (started Oct 17, 9:00 a.m. Arizona). Live at https://frontpagekid.com Pages: 1. Home: a 6-second self-playing demo, a scroll-driven "How it works", a sample season deck, a demo film, and a waitlist. 2. Make a sample front page (/start): enter a name, score, highlight and quote, pick a Classic or Modern card, and get a finished front page. The front page and the card download as images. 3. Season page: a sample season that adds up game by game. 4. Team page: a sample team front page and the plan for team pages. 5. Beyond the ballfield: the same format for motocross and fishing. 6. Pricing: four plans for the first season. 7. About, with a feedback form. 8. Under the hood: build timeline, rules, engine test results, and roadmap. 9. Privacy. Features: 1. Waitlist and feedback forms that save to a Google Sheet, with a spam guard, a duplicate check and formula-injection protection. 2. Cards and front pages drawn in the browser, so photos are never uploaded. 3. Link preview image and icons for sharing. 4. Phone layout checked on every page at 360 and 390 px. 5. Reduced-motion support on every animation. Engine prototype (runs locally, not yet on the site): removes other people from a sideline photo. Tested on 21 real photos in 2 rounds.

Why customers choose you
Parents use a scorekeeping app, a photo package, or nothing. A scorekeeping app needs someone to keep score, and it writes the recap for you. A photo package takes days and has no story. Front Page Kid needs one photo and the score, and it gives you a front page and a trading card the same night. It uses only real facts and your kid's own words. Other children are removed from the picture.
Your ideal customer
A parent of a youth athlete who takes a lot of photos at every game. The photos stay on the phone and never reach anyone. Front Page Kid turns one of them into something worth sharing: a front page and a trading card to send to family, friends and the team. Parents are ready to act right after the game, when it still matters most.
Your approach to design
The site has one next step: make a sample front page. The hero shows the product work in six seconds, so a parent sees the result before they read. The newspaper look, with square paper, serif type and a real front page, makes the keepsake feel worth keeping. Most parents visit on a phone at the field, so every page was checked at phone width.
